Join us for special summer tours at the Center! Tour for one hour learning about the Center and all that we do while your kids enjoy fun activities, popsicles and more! Tours are offered on the first Tuesday of every month at 11:00 a.m. We gather in the main lobby on the 2nd Floor of the center. The tour lasts about 45 minutes, and afterwards many visitors like to walk to their favorite downtown Wilmington restaurant for lunch. Touring the Center is a great way to learn about what we do, meet our partners and find out more about volunteer opportunities! For parking information and directions click here.

You are invited to attend our 5th annual "A Day in the LIfe" luncheon which will be held at the Coastline Convention Center on Friday, August 18th from 12-1pm. This is the annual fundraiser for A Safe Place, which is an empowerment organization that focuses on prevention, advocacy, and restoration to assist victims of commercial sexual exploitation and domestic minor sex trafficking.

Peers in the workforce helps transform the recovery health services system with their unique skills and "been there" experience. It is engaging and fun, challenging and transformative, holding the high expectation that people with significant challenges can overcome them and succeed at the highest level.
The Peer Employment Training focuses on:
- Developing peer support skills for use in the workplace
- The exploration and development of personal recovery
- Supporting individuals in recognizing their strength, possibilities and accountability as certified peers. A certificate is issued at completion of the course.
