Melinda, a hardworking, single-mother of three, faced eviction after her long-standing job through a temp agency suddenly ended.
It took Melinda two weeks to find a comparable position that would pay enough to cover her $1,700 rent and other living expenses. It was another two weeks before Melinda would be paid.
By using her first small paycheck, receiving Help Hub assistance, and connecting her to other community resources, her June rent was covered.
Now working full time, she will have enough income for her July expenses
