Corporate sponsorship of Harrelson Center events allows your contributions to fuel our annual fundraising. Three signature events provide spring, fall and winter opportunities to gather and witness the impact your support assures. Planned Giving
Our Honorary Board established an endowment to provide a sustainable source of support for our work and mission, expand the number of giving options available to donors, and build capital for long-term strategies that enhance our services.
The Harrelson Center Endowment is invested and administered through the North Carolina Community Foundation. NCCF accepts appreciated securities and real property, estate assets and bequests, retirement plan assets, and life insurance benefits.
Stock Gift
Gifts of appreciated stocks and mutual funds may be preferred for donor tax advantages. We will send you a receipt for the full fair market value to be considered as a charitable deduction.

In Honor of Gift
Acknowledge those who have made a difference in your life with a contribution in their name. Gifts may be made in honor of, or in memory of others, and will be acknowledged with a card sent to the person or family at the address provided. It is our honor to be listed as a beneficiary in memory of your loved one.
IRA Distributions
Assets held in qualified retirement plans or individual retirement accounts may be contributed by naming the Jo Ann Carter Harrelson Center as the designated beneficiary. Individuals 70 ½ or older may consider a tax-free qualified charitable distribution paid directly from one’s IRA to the Harrelson Center.
