Eden Village is Wilmington’s tiny home and gated community that offers permanent housing for our chronically homeless and disabled neighbors. Supportive services help residents build skills that contribute to their wellbeing, while connecting them to the broader community.
Eden Village neighbors learn critical money management skills from Kairos Center’s Money Matters classes; they acquire clothes for employment and special occasions from Philippians 3 Ministries. And they learn healthy and mindful practices with regular visits from Yoga Village.
As Shawn Hayes, Eden Village’s Executive Director says, “We can’t do this alone. We use our friends; they use us. It’s a wonderful thing and it all comes together at the Harrelson Center.”
