Kick off your Thanksgiving Day with a morning of fun while helping Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity build a home.

Join the festivities at the Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity Turkey Trot (formerly called Wrightsville Beach Turkey Trot)! Come dressed in your finest Turkey costume (for you and your pets) while running or walking 1 Mile or 5k along the Cape Fear River in historic Downtown Wilmington.

All proceeds help build homes, communities, and hope through Cape Fear Habitat.

New location for 2026: due to construction at Wrightsville Beach, the Turkey Trot will be in Downtown Wilmington
