Youth MHFA teaches you how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders in youth.
This training gives adults who work with or spend time with youth the skills they need to reach out and provide initial support to children and adolescents (ages 6-21) who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care.
Register now – Registration closes 2 weeks prior to training date.
Steps:
1. Activate your account in Connect (You will receive an email to do so)
2. Complete the online self-paced pre-work prior to the instructor led portion of the training
3. Attend the instructor led training
4. Complete the post-work and receive your certificate. Certification is valid for 3 years.
