Touring the Center is a great way to learn about what we do, meet our partners, check out the transformation of the old jail tower, and find out more about volunteer opportunities! Meet at our Welcome Center for our regular monthly drop-in tours or if you have a group of 5 or more, schedule a tour with our Outreach Coordinator.

Involve My Church

Many Cape Fear area churches merge their congregations’ financial and volunteer resources to support our Help Hub and clients. Together, they provide volunteers, make annual financial commitments, supply essentials to meet basic needs, and serve on the Help Hub Advisory Council. Contact our Outreach Coordinator to learn more.

Teen Service: Be The Light

Our Be the Light program convenes the student ministries of Help Hub Member Churches, engaging teenagers with community service projects that inspire deeper understanding and have a meaningful impact on our community.

Past projects have included assembling:
• Gift bags for women in domestic violence shelters
• Welcome home baskets for displaced families
• Hydration kits for farmworkers
• Hurricane preparedness kits
