The Recovery Resource Center provides free education and support to people who are affected by mental illness and/or addiction. RRCI offers a network of support, services, including peer-to-peer mentoring and coaching, so that clients can build a healthy lifestyle and reduce the likelihood of relapse and recidivism.

What is Peer Support?

Peer Support is a structured relationship here a trained worker or volunteer, who has gone through a process of recovery, assists other people with mental health and/or substance use issues to identify and achieve life goals as part of their own recovery process.


Peer Supporters provide mentorship, emotional support, problem solving, goal setting, crisis risk assessment, and referrals to other community supports.


Peer Supporters offer non-judgemental listening and person-centered goal setting.

RRCI is a Place of...

  • Community. All are welcome. Each person will be treated as a friend, listened to, accepted, and given information and support.
  • Safety. RRCI is a safe haven- emotionally, physically, socially and spiritually. 
  • Self-Determination. People are free to determine their own level of participation and interaction.

  • Growth & Development. RRCI offers groups and workshops for those looking to gain, regain, improve, or support life skills that empower individuals on their road to recovery and greater independence.
